App Day in a Box @ITER

Hie Everyone.!!

This Event is been organized by SOA University Firefox Club under Computer Science Department. It's been a year and half SOA University Firefox Club Spreading mozilla mission by organizing different event and contributing in different projects.

App Day in a Box @ITER is been organized to write add another story of success. Venue: Academic Block, ITER, SOA University, Bhubaneswar. on 26th July, 2015.

Rain is considered as auspicious and comes on special days like on our event day. Now its time to Put a Step Forward. So, we are starting Mozilla Odisha Community to Spread Open-ness all over Odisha.

 

The Session Stared by Shahid Ji telling participants about Mozilla mission, how they can contributer in different area/project. A Quick Introduction to Mozilla Science Lab.

 

The session is continued by Sumantro Mukherjee (Apps Reviewer). He started with delivering talk about Firefox OS its Technical working. He explained the ways, features and benefits of building Firefox OS Apps. He also Explained the Participant how they can deploy there Apps into market place. Then the Brain Storming session were participants were give an hour to make a application of there own. After the session Sumantro show live demo how they can deploy there application & how they can generate developer id.

The craziness shown by the participants was really amazing the clock is showing 2:30 pm and none of the participants were willing to go for there lunch. We took the break for Half an Hour then resumed the session.
The second half is totally devoted in Learning Webmaker For Android. and making Live makes Competition.
 


Among all the participants, Priyanka Priyadarshnee from ITER, and Malay Satapathy from KIIT come up with fantastic make and were awarded with Mozilla Webmaker T-shirts.

Goodies been distributed among to all the participants. Webmaker Club @ SOA University as a Part of Mozilla Odisha Community was inaugurated by our winners under presence of Shahid Ji, Umesh Agarwal and Sumantro Mukherjee for spreading web Literacy and keeping track of makes make by the Contributer user webmaker.

 

I wanna thank Sumantro Mukherjee, Umesh Agarwal, Shahid Farooqui Ji for traveling all way down form Kolkata and making it a special Day. I also wanna thank Anmol Agarwal, Priyanka Kundu, Prabha Bhanu, Sumit lakra for putting all there effort making it a success . Sushreeta Sahoo u deserve a special thanks for designing the poster and all your effort.

App Day in a Box @CET

Hie..!!

It started with meeting Sumantro, Umesh and Shahid ji in Bhubnaeswar station at morning 6 am. Then we went to the Guest House to take some rest. We reached venue i.e, College of Engineering and Technology, Kalinga Vihar, Ghatikia, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha 751003 near about 10 am.

 The tag-line we came up with is: 

"What ever the situation event will go on"

 The session was divided into three parts:-

•  Mozilla Mission and Science Lab by Shahid Farooqui Ji
•  Firefox OS App maker by Sumantro Mukherjee
•  Webmaker for Android by Umesh Agarwal
